Student visa
International students need to apply for a student (non immigrant ED) visa at the local embassy/consulate. The initial visa is only valid for 90 days (instead of 1 year). After arriving in Thailand, students are eligible to extend their visa by successfully registering for the course and starting classes. The Student Affairs Department (located on the first floor of the main building of Sinawa International University) will assist all eligible students in completing this process and accompany them to the immigration office if necessary.
Upon arrival or during the welcoming period, new students will be informed about the visa process and requirements.Students who are late or miss the welcome party for other reasons need to contact the university's visa officer (Student Affairs Department) to understand visa matters.
Please note:Your passport and any visa you hold are always your own responsibility, and if you miss the deadline, exceed your residency period, or violate any rules/regulations, you will be held responsible.Failure to comply with rules/regulations may result in fines or, in severe cases, visa revocation.Although universities are sponsors of visas and assist students in obtaining and extending visas, student visas can only be issued by immigration agencies or embassies/consulates authorized by the government.
